Moab Specialty Attractions
Tour a 5,000 sq. ft. home carved into the side of a large rock. Many interesting formations are inside, including a fireplace, a bathtub and a French-fryer. The house was started in the mid-1940s as a home and gift shop. Guided tours are offered year-round to visitors.
Balanced Rock
Located in Arches National Park near Moab, Balanced Rock is one of the park's main natural features and is as the name suggests - a massive tear drop-shaped boulder balancing on top of a sandstone spire.
Devils Garden
Devils Garden is an area of Arches National Park that features a series of red sandstone rock fins, some of which are massive and appear as narrow canyons. Devils Garden also features several of the park's well-known arches, including the long, thin Landscape Arch, Tunnel Arch and Wall Arch. A hiking trail leads to and through the area and a campground is located nearby.
Delicate Arch
Delicate Arch is a freestanding sandstone arch in Arches National Park near Moab and is the most well-known and photographed landmark of the park. The stunning arch is featured on Utah license plates and stamps and during the Winter 2002 Olympic Games in Utah, the torch was passed through the arch.
